The transceiver receives and stores the transmitter data until it receives a request from the PalTrack server. When the server requests the data it is sent to the server via the RS485 network. Each transceiver is designed with external communication capabilities. The standard I/O port provides the capability to interface with and activate external devices such as audible alarms, security cameras and more. The transceiver has an active antenna which is based on a single chip ASK (Amplitude Shift Key) receiver IC. The anti-jam receiver offers an exceptionally high level of integration and performance. The unique architecture enables data rates up to 50 kb/s to be supported. The active antenna complies with all low power radio regulations, including ETSI-ETS 300 220 and FCC part 15 for ease of supportability.The active antenna is designed as a "Plug-n-Play" interface to the transceiver.
